The Warehouse Antiques & Collectables, The Steiff Shop and Beers of Europe today (17th December) took delivery of a Clothes Bank which will be situated just inside the main gates for ease of access.
All proceeds raised from the Clothes bank will be shared between the Salvation Army Trading Company and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Amy Haynes, Community Fundraiser for the East Anglian Air Ambulance said “Each bank raises an average of £200 per month for each charity, which is wonderful. As a charity we rely on the support of the community and the funds raised from the bank will continue to support keeping our crews in the sky.”
Jason Clark, Director of Beers of Europe and Warehouse Antiques said “ everything in the Antique side of our business is recycled and our policy here is reduce, reuse, recycle and inline with other large retailers we are keen to do our bit for the planet. Already we recycle as much of our packaging as possible, we have been using recycled packing chips for the last 5 years, we re-use all our cardboard boxes and our plastic beers crates are sent back to be reused. In keeping with our recycling targets we have now taken delivery of a recycling clothing bank to add to our other onsite glass bottle bank ”.
If you have any donations of good quality mens, ladies, children’s clothing or shoes then please come along and pop into our clothing bank which is situated just inside our site.
Opening hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays/Bank Holidays 10am to 4pm.
