The Warehouse Antiques & Collectables, Setchey, Norfolk Help Celebrate National Air Ambulance Week
Last week the Antique shop in Setchey took part in the ‘Get Up and Go Yellow’ fundraising event by having a ‘Yellow Section of Antiques, Collectables and Retro’.
The ‘Go Yellow’ themed section has gone a down a storm with customers supporting this great charity.
Owner, Derek Clark said “The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a charity which we really like to get behind and support and last week we have had such a great response with our ‘Go Yellow’ theme on display that we have decided to continue to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance by changing the colour each week with the next one being ‘Go Red Week!’
Amy Haynes, Events Manager for the EAAA said “A huge thank you to Warehouse Antiques for their yellow display on Get Up and Go Yellow Day. They’re encouraging donations and are going to work their way through the colour chart and have a weekly colour display in aid of us.”
Head of Community Fundraising, Stuart Wyle, said; “This is a new initiative for us, and we really wanted to host something that would celebrate National Air Ambulance Week, but also EAAA as a charity and we thought what better way than to turn as many people as possible across the region yellow, the colours of our wonderful H145 helicopter. We can’t wait to see all the creative ways people think of to go yellow and raise funds. All the money donated from the day will go towards helping us save lives across the region. Without your support we can’t do what we do.”
"This is one of if not the best place in the east of England to find, retro, vintage, antique or generally unique items of all styles and types. I have been browsing all the dealers booths looking for those special pieces of art for my home and have always managed to find what I'm after or even more. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well organised and with the adjoining beers of Europe and the Warehouse restaurant this truly can be a full day out all under one roof! So if you are looking for a different type of store to browse or are planning a visit to Norfolk then please visit The Warehouse Antiques it will be worth your time."
